Established between Grand Place and the Saint-Michel et Gudule cathedral, the Maison de la Bande Dessinée is a museum dedicated to comic book culture. Opened in 2006, the Maison is the pride and joy of locals as Belgian comic books are one of the country's most notable exports. See the work of such masters as Franquin, Morris, Will, Sirius, Hubinon, Paape or Peyo, and their inimitable characters such as Tintin or the Smurfs…
You can read comics here to your heart's content, and little ones have their own children's section where they can browse alongside you, lost in a world of bubbles…
