The legacy of Rogier van der Weyden. Painting in Brussels, exhibition

Pictorial production in Brussels.
The exhibition at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels aims to provide an overview of pictorial production in Brussels at the end of the fifteenth century and early sixteenth century, at a time when the city was booming.
The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium houses a large collection of paintings and some key works from this period. Thanks to the generosity of various museums in Europe, the United States as well as private collections, major works formerly produced in Brussels will return to their place of origin.
Thus, the Triptych of the Miracles of Christ produced in three workshops in Brussels, will travel from Melbourne (Australia). The Brussels exhibition will be accompanied by a scientific publication that will present the results of the latest research and benefit from trials by different specialists.
